Inspiration Works Both Ways!

Over the past few years, we have had the incredible privilege of visiting many schools with our coffee van, talking to the students about paying it forward whilst serving hot cocoas and cookies — and each one leaves us more inspired than the last. At Jacob’s Brew we are used to creating warm moments over a cuppa, but during our school visits, we find ourselves on the receiving end of something even more special: kindness, creativity, and genuine connection.

What stands out most isn’t just the warm welcome, but the students themselves. In many of the schools we visit, it’s the children who take the lead — planning the event together with their teachers, managing the details, and choosing to celebrate their achievements in a way that carries real meaning. Instead of choosing material rewards, they opt to invite someone whose story speaks of resilience and hope.

And their efforts are truly inspiring.

From designing posters and crafting heartfelt messages, the students put so much heart into everything they do. Their sense of ownership, teamwork, and pride shines through in every moment, and we feel lucky just to witness it.

Each visit reminds us that our little coffee shop with a big ❤️ is about so much more than serving hot beverages and cookies. It’s about people, stories, and the power of community. It’s about showing up, sharing a moment, and being part of something that matters.
