Who we are

What we collect
Nothing. This is a static website: the pages are plain files served to your browser. There is no login, no contact form, no comment section and no database. We set no cookies and we do not use analytics or advertising trackers of any kind. The fonts used on this site are served from this website itself rather than from a third party.
Our hosting provider
The site is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the technical information your browser sends when it requests a page — such as your IP address, the page requested and your browser type — in order to deliver the site and to protect it from abuse. We do not have access to individual visitor records. Cloudflare's privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Third-party content on some pages
A few pages embed content from other companies. When you open one of those pages, your browser contacts that company directly, and their own privacy policy applies to that request:
- Google Maps on the Contact page, so you can see where the cafe is — Google's privacy policy.
- YouTube on the Pay it forward page. We use YouTube's no-cookie player, which does not set tracking cookies unless you press play — Google's privacy policy.
There is no online payment on this site. Donations are taken in person at the shop, or by phone or email — so no card or bank details ever pass through this website.
Links to other sites
Our site links to other sites, including our Facebook pages, that we do not operate. We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, the content or privacy practices of those sites. We advise you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.
Children's privacy
This site does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, children included. If you believe we hold information about a child, please contact us and we will remove it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or erase personal data we hold about you, and to complain to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta. Because this website collects nothing, in practice we hold nothing to give you — but if you have emailed or called us, get in touch and we will tell you what we have and delete it on request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any change will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
